Village Green of Ann Arbor
AVERAGE RATING

I lived at Village Green last year (2005- 2006) the only reason I moved was to get a little closer to work. For the most part VG was wonderful. It's set back more into the country which was great because there a parks and walkways everywhere. The community itself is great for walking. There;s a little pond in the center, and around it is walking paths...there are bbq grills, gazebo's, wooden swings and lots of water birds (geese and ducks) to watch along the path. The apartmenst are somewhat small, but I loved the layouts. In fact I'm in an apt. now that's twice the size, but I still miss my VG apt! It was incredibly quiet there and I never ever had an issue with maintenance...they always came out quickly. The pool area is so cool...they have tons of space for sun bathing, a bar area, grills and a cute little waterfall!
The only downfalls I can say are that because VG is pet friendly, there is tons of dog poop all over the walking areas (lawn along the paths, and grassy areas along the driveways). THey have no pet stations for disposal of this stuff (kinda' gross) and don't seem to pick it up, ever! Also, rent is really high...I know it's Ann Arbor, and VG anywhere is pricey, but c'mon...the apartments aren't all that huge and I only had 1 bathroom! Everything else is wonderful...if you have the money, definately consider this place!!!!
