Clearly the people who reviewed this before were disgruntled. My lease is almost up and I will be renewing. My move in was the easiest I ever encountered. They looked after moving agents for me while I was out of town. When something is in need of repair it is done very quickly. With 500 units, not everyone can be happy. The place is clean and very safe. I rarely lock my door. The a/c always work and there have been no problems. There can occassionly be a spider web or a chipmunk and there can be noise from time to time, but what apartment complex can you live in without that' The security gate has been down lately and most prefer it to be up so I have no idea why people gripe about it. Village Green is a business and they won't stay in it long if all that has been previously said was true. The staff and maintenance are generally very responsive and helpful. I would recommend village green of ann arbor and before you miss out on a nice place, look into it rather than listening to a few unhappy residents. There will always be those.
