I would be SUSPICIOUS of the reviews that make claims of Windemere being such a wonderful place. We've lived here for two years, and I can tell you it's not that great.

I agree with the reviewer that said the places are OK if nothing breaks, but everything breaks, and the turnover is SO high among the maintenance staff that they can't even remember what work you've requested, much less get it accomplished in a professional manner. A lot of things seem to just partially work or aren't installed correctly. The fixtures to both toilets have been replaced at least once each, yet both toilets still have problems. We've had multiple problems with the garbage disposal. Two of our light switches are installed incorrectly, so you have to push up on them excessively to get the lights to come on. Oh, and the covered parking is poorly designed too -- it's too high, so snow and ice easily can cover your car. There's many more problems, but I don't want to waste my time on this review anymore.

For what what you pay in rend, it's DEFINITELY not worth living here.
