Rude management, paper-thin walls and an inadequate maintenance staff pretty much sums it up.
For $1045/month, we pretty much assumed we?d be living it up. First of all, an apartment with a washer and dryer was a must for us, but don?t plan on washing more than one pair of jeans at a time, because there isn?t much room for more than that. And I hope you?ve got a good 2 hours to dry them!
We?ve been here 6 months and still haven?t gotten our countertops or carpeting fixed. We assumed we?d have new carpeting for what we?re paying, or at least carpeting without a huge red Kool-Aid stain in the middle of my bedroom floor. No such luck!
The Management here is terribly rude, so pray you don?t have to deal with them! Not to mention for $1045/month I have no where to park. Being female I?m worried about the trek I have to make to my door if there?s no spots directly in front of my building. (Which there never is!)
By the way, I?ve never lived in a place that has such poor insulation. I can hear EVERYTHING (and I mean EVERYTHING) that goes on in the apartment upstairs. I don?t know about you, but I could live without my neighbor singing opera in the shower every Saturday at exactly 6:40 am. Not to mention my walls shake every time my neighbor to the left of me runs the washer and dryer.
Worst of all, if you're female don't plan on washing your hair and shaving your legs all in one showering experience. The hot water here lasts you exactly 9 minutes. (Yes, I've timed it on numerous occasions because it's so ridiculous!)
The only way I?d recommend this place is if you have a VERY large dog and can?t find a place to accomodate pets. Otherwise, I recommend living elsewhere. If you can handle the Novi area, I lived in the Springs Phase II and loved it there! Never once had a problem in 2 years.
