The location of the apartments is very nice, close to 23 and shopping areas. The apartment it self was small and they had very poor maintenance, I waited 3 months to get a leak from the 17 year old washer and dyer stack unit fixed. It ruined some of my personal items, even though I have renter's insurance it didn't cover deferred maintenance. Windermere would not reimburse me for my loss. They are not helpful and extremely rude.

They do not take care of the grounds, they need clean up, pavement cracks, the black top is full of holes,junk cars around. Peeling paint on the buildings, dumpster units are falling apart. I was embaressed to have friends over................I would not recommend anyone living there!

Wow this is the most ridiculous review I've read. I live there now and lived there at this time and maintenance always responded within 24 hours of my complaints, in addition the leasing office staff are VERY nice.

I also do live there. The maintenance staff and office staff are very helpful. I do feel that they are overpriced for how old they are. There are many times I wish I had not moved there. But the convenience of the location makes up for everything.

I live there for 3 years and it was great. The apartment was bright, and large. Everything worked great. And the maintenace response was terrific. My dryer stopped working one day and I called the office and they had a new dryer in my apartment before the end of the day.

I lived there from January 1991 to May 1993 and I had a wonderful experience. The apartment was extremely clean like in new condition. my microwave oven broke I call the office to report it few hours later they came with another microwave to replace it. The office staff was always very nice helpful and organized. I loved living in there. I have been renting a lot of properties in many different States and I have had problems that I did not have at Windemere Park Apts.
