I have lived here for four years. When we first looked at our apartment, we were impressed! Each vacant apartment gets professionally cleaned, they change the carpet, and maintance checks everything. When it snows (which it does for freakin' half the year), the maintance guys are up at 6AM!! shovelling snow off the sidewalks and parking lot. We've had 3 problems with our apartment (leaky drain, broken water heater, and broken dryer) and the maintance guys and staff responded very quickly! I even had a bank snafu one time and the office staff didn't charge me a late fee. The office ladies are always very friendly and ask about my dog (they know his name). We had some noisy neighbors one time, but after 3 complaints (per the lease), the apt. kicked them out. Our neighbors are wonderful and quiet (which is great for graduate students). The apartments have updated the work-out room since I've been here and got new mailboxes. I saw some people complain about insects, but if you've lived in south U.S. - you would know that there are nastier things than ants and spiders - how about GIANT FLYING COCKROACHES!! But that's another story...
