My lease is up here in a little over a month. Thank goodness! First of all, I had major issues with noisy neighbors. I can tolerate quite a bit of noise having lived in a college dorm, but I can't deal with it when it sounds like there is a dance club above my apartment at 1 am. This was not the only incident either...there were numerous others (loud music, druming, thumping) where I filed noise complaints and nearly called the police. Second, there were times when there were sketchy characters around and I felt very uncomfortable. Third, different people were always parked in my assigned parking space.

Finally, management had my car impounded when I went on vacation, despite my telling them I was leaving and asking if it was okay to leave my car. My car was a week away from being auctioned off when I received notice from the Ann Arbor Police Department that it had been impounded. The management made no attempt to check the license plate or contact me to regarding the situation. Now I have a bill from the towing company for $700 and am trying to get them to pay for it.

Don't rent here under any circumstances!!! Many of my friends have had much better experiences 2 miles down Green Road at GreenBriar Apartments!
