Please think twice before renting from this property. As referenced in many of the reviews on this site, the management staff is rude and incompetent. Their lack of training requires prospective renters to scour the lease agreement to avoid being taken advantage of, which they will gladly do. In the year that I lived on site, I saw the following: Broken fixtures, screen doors and fallen brick left unrepaired for over 6 months!! Additionally, there were vagrants and homeless figures wandering the grounds which was a serious cause for concern and an infestation of ants and other pests which was inadequately dealt with by management. I have rented for 5 years and have had my worst experience yet at this property. When given the opportunity to do the right thing, Windemere Park chooses to do the opposite each time!

Wow, we must have been living in different complexes. I've lived here for four years and have NEVER seen any homeless or vagrants wandering on property. Also anytime I call the management, they have been very responsive and usually sent someone out the same day to fix even the most mundane problem.

I've lived here for one year, and we are moving within the month. Tons of Homeless people and vagrants do walk through the lots during the day going through the trash bins and recycling containers because their so low to the ground and numerous throughout the complex. Most people who aren't around (day workers) during the day would never notice this. That is why there is a discrepancy with peoples' viewpoints. The maintenance/ management drive by them on their golf carts and do nothing about it nor does it seem they call social services/or cops. Also, be careful if you live on the top floor. During the spring, winter runoff from the roofs will flood the top ceiling edges of your bedrooms leaving big brown spots on the top of the bedroom walls. We reported it and they said they would fix all of them at the same time (when their roofing services were coming o fix the roofs and gutters)once snow runoff finished. This was 6 months ago, and we still have big brown spots on our walls. I have pics if any "employee raters" would like to dispute this, or if potential renters would like to see what I'm taking about. We've taken many pictures but do expect them to try to charge us for damages upon move out. They better not, cause we'll fight it. Complex is NOT recommended. You could pay less money for the same headaches elsewhere in Ann Arbor. Keep Looking.

This is by far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in, and I have lived in many places in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. I have never had a problem where the office and maintenance staff have not addressed it within a few hours, or less for that matter. Whatever the issues the previous writers had, are obviously, the lack of understanding what their lease states, which they signed, reporting and communicating to management what their concerns were and following up. We can only expect management to respond to what we report to them. I for one, have never seen vagrants here, but it does not surprise me, knowing the state of our world, people do what they must to survive. Let us all count our blessings and not judge!!!

I live in Windamere park and have for several years. I am a stay at home mom and am on site throughout the day. I have never, not even once, seen a homeless person walking on site or going through the trash. Also, everytime I've called maintenance they've come immediately or on the scheduled day and time and have fixed what was need to be fixed at that time and have not needed to come back for the same issue. If you were having problems with leaks with no response, you needed to be more demanding. However, I feel that this is not the case. I recommend Windamere park and I thank it's employees for all their hard work and their quick responses to my families needs.
