Some of the things people have said about this apartment community are not true. There are no homeless people or vagrants, haven't seen a single one. The lease clearly states a 60 day move-out notice, or you will be charged month to month. Maintenance and management staff respond very quickly, within 48 hours if it's not an emergency. I've never felt unsafe. I've never felt like any employee was rude; I've actually felt they are extremely welcoming and that they care about my needs.

The fitness center was closed for a while, however, this was because they were in the process of building a better one for us. While it was closed, the equipment was still available to use by the residents in a vacant apartment not even 100 feet from the old one!!! Residents also are not charged for this amenity. To say that it was closed while still being charged for it is untrue. There is also a pool, hot tub, and tennis courts-- all of which residents are not charged for.

It is far too often people feel cheated by this community and others due to their lack of will power to read through the lease. It is a contract, therefore legally binding-- this might mean it would be in your best interest to read the whole thing before signing it. I know for most people, especially myself, I would FORGET that I need to give 60 days notice after living somewhere for 8 months, is that Windamere Parks fault' No, perhaps rereading the lease 6 months after moving in would be a good way to not forget that its 60 days, not 30 days notice. Make sure you read the lease and understand it before pointing the finger at the staff. Don't call it the fine print, because it's definitely BOLD.

I recommend living in this community because it's quiet, safe, and the staff are quick to help you. If you do live here, read your lease to make sure you understand your obligations as well as theirs. If your apartment needs maintenance, call and request it-- they ALWAYS come.

I also live there and generally like it, but I have to disagree about the homeless people. They are there going through the container recycling on a regular basis. I hear them in the middle of the night when i'm walking my dog and I've also seen them out and about during the daytime. That said, they've never botherd me and I have never had any problems with things being stolen off my patio or anything (grill, bike, chairs, plants, etc.)
