i figured that since this apartment costs an arm and a leg (especially compared to the surrounding area) we'd be in a safe place, right' wrong.

in the last 4 months, i've seen 3 evictions, including the drug dealer who lived upstairs, a woman across the parking lot who was screaming obscenities and hurling things off her balcony at the guy who served the papers. and yesterday' a narcotics bust involving the swat team. ...

the apartments themselves are really nice, if overpriced. our unit is beautiful, and while some of the office staff can be snobby, most of them (once you get used to them) are actually really nice. my only complaint is that our water heater sucks, and the cable tv and modem (which can only be had from ACR Cable operating out of this apt. complex) sucks horribly.

my hope is that they're cleaning this place out, because there seems to be a lot of shady stuff going on behind the scenes...
