I am a current resident of Beacon Hill and was in the office when Johnnyma45's mom came to Beacon Hill. I heard her arguing with an employee saying that John was promised free cable television and high speed Internet with his apartment. There are NO apartment communities that give away free cable and high speed Internet. The woman was trying to get a discounted rate and the staff did not allow her to get away with it. It clearly states on Beacon Hills web page, (www.bhapartments.com) that cable and Internet are separate services paid for by the tenant. Her actions were completely unacceptable, at one point grabbing the file from the hands of an employee. The employee handled the woman professionally; apologized for the misunderstanding explaining that he understood if the rent was too high but he would need an answer because there was someone on the waiting list for the unit her son had reserved. At no point were his actions rude, nasty or anything other than professional. I have lived at Beacon Hill for years and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to call home. They have a beautiful complex and a professional caring staff always willing to help in any way. It is unfortunate that people that don't get their way turn to lying as a way to smear a company??s reputation.

I would like to agree with you that no apartment is going to give away free cable and high speed internet, but I was also told that I would get 2 months of free internet/cable by one of the staff. A month later the bill came in. So its either the staff was lying or I don't understand English. By the way, their cable and internet sucks. Its worth the money.

I have free cable in my complex. I also just looked at Beacon Hill today and in my packet they gave me it says cable and internet included.

I think that you guys have to be more honest. You cannot look at a packet someone gave you the end of December 2008 (which says cable and internet included) to say that someone else was not telling the truth in 2006 when cable and internet WERE NOT INCLUDED. I left in mid June 2007, and AT THAT TIME, cable and internet WERE NOT INLCUDED. Maybe economic conditions are such now in 2009 that cable and internet are included. Please keep comments up to date. Don't try to blast someone's reputation by implying dishonesty which was not there. Thanks.
