I stayed in here for 3 months on sublease. The day when I went in for subleasing they were all with smiles but then after a month I saw their real faces when I wanted them for Maintenance. I booked a complaint for cold wind coming through the windows. The Maintenance fellow did some stunts for fixing and came back saying he needs to talk with the Manager and untill then you need to live with it.
untill 3 months no one turned up and I landed making up visits to their office. Their stand on Subleasing an apartment changes depending upon the requestor. I pitty for the new students from the University across the street who takes this apartment as its very close.
I am not Signing a new lease with them and I would recommend this to others too.

I agree with you. I'd just moved in 2 months ago and I realized there was a leak on top of my bath tub. Not to mention paint stains all over the carpets. I called Maintenance thinking that they'll be over by the next day. It took them over a week to come by and check it. Okay, being patience, I left out the paint stain part, hoping he would just fix my damn ceiling so I can take a shower without having to worry about nasty upstair water dripping on me. Nopes! He told me that he'll get back to me once he talk to his mananger, mean while I have to deal with it. And look, 2 months went by already. I even went to the office to complain, still nothing. I only wished I read the review before signing the lease. And yes, I was suck into it cause I'm an Oakland University Students.
