Bloomfield Villas IS a joke. You better turn your keys to the manager's office when you move out or look out! My roommate left ours on the counter in the apartment when he moved out and they called that a "breach of contract" and charged us $1700 extra dollars! What the hell'' Our washer and dryer were constantly breaking and no one came to fix them for weeks! We couldn't wash our clothes, it was ridiculous. Our neighbors underneath us cooked Indian food EVERY night and the sickening smell would come up through our floor, I wanted to puke EVERY DAY. I couldn't breathe. It was horrible. If you move in there you better have someone else's name on the lease cause they will hit you for every charge they can think of at the end. Even if you move out early, if your name is on the lease they won't take it off. If your roommate stays there and doesn't pay rent for 2 months, they can charge you all the money, just because your name is on the lease. That's what happened to me. They don't care about anything or anyone except money. That place is a disaster. And their "work out facility" is HORRIBLE. The machines were really old and falling apart. There was no ventilation in there, not even a fan, and they put locks on the windows so you couldn't get any air. It's amazing that they don't go out of business. They are suing me for almost $4000 cause my roommate didn't pay the rent or any of the utilities for 2 whole months, and because he didn't turn the keys in to the manager's office. Since they can't get ahold of him, they are suing me for all the money just because my name was on the lease, even though I wasn't even living there at the time. I don't know how these people can sleep at night. It's awful. Do yourself a favor and don't rent from ANYONE. It's a huge waste of money. Save your cash and get your own place.
