DON'T RENT HERE!! Terrible quality apartments!! Horrible management people!!

I lived here since 2004 and had 'several' small/big issues with the apartment. Two months ago (in December 2008) my apartment bathroom had a clog that I could not remove so I called the apartment office. The plumber came in and did some repairs and went away. All I remember he said that time was 'You are all set'.
Now 2 months later I get bills and letters from the apartment office asking me to pay for that clog removal. They are claiming that the clog was caused by some item that belonged to me'''
I wrote them that I am willing to pay the charges but I must verify that the item (that they claim caused the clog) was really mine. Guess what'' Management called me and said they don't have the item and that I am still responsible for the payment for the repairs!! They also said they will classify my account as 'delinquent'!! Now that is like looting in a broad daylight! I still intend to fight the 'inappropriate' charges.
PLEASE DON'T EVEN CONSIDER RENTING HERE. SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY. SAVE YOURSELF LOTS OF HASSLE!! Use my experience and of several others who have lived here and posted about Bloomfield Villas.

The office always keeps photographs of the items for which a tenant is charged. If a tenant receives a bill from us we will be more than happy to produce said evidence as we offered to do with this resident. Bloomfield Villas is more than happy to respond to any complaints that any of our tenants have. Please don't hesitate to call the office and ask to speak with the manager.

Why was the item not shown to me on the same day when the photographs were taken? I was at home and the plumber did not even mention about the clog. Why a bill after 2 months?
Your intentions are clear...Charging renters in whatever possible way you can!! Too bad I rented here.

That crap about calling to talk to management is a crock of ----! I have been moved out of Bloomfield Villas and have been trying to fix a problem we had when we left-I've made many calls and always have to leave a message for the manager, yet I believe she's only ever returned a call ONE TIME. Did not receive my deposit refund and I also did not receive our final paperwork via mail. (Hence the phone calls from me trying to get ahold of the manager). The management at this complex is the WORST MANAGEMENT STAFF I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY YEARS OF RENTING!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU THINK TWICE ABOUT RENTING HERE--CHANCES ARE YOU WILL REGRET IT!
