We moved in July of 07. The apartment that we originally agreed to ended up flooding 1 week before our move in date. They did not provide us with an equal alternative, but they did (of course) have a more expensive and "flashier" apartment that was an option. Custom paint and different counter tops for 300$ more a month. Yah, it looks good. at first. The quality of their materials they used were horrible. The paint is cheap, the wood floors are cheap and installed poorly. The maintenance crew however, was very courteous, and fast. Never had a problem with them. The parking lots are a pain. constantly fighting with neighbors for parking spots. And in the winter, when they plow snow, they plow your car in. My car was actually stuck for 4 days because it could not get over the snow bank they created behind it. The neighborhood is nice though. I felt safe here. But honestly, not worth the money. Also, if you rent here. WATCH YOUR PAPERWORK!! We signed our lease that stated that it would end in June. When I gave them my end of lease notice, they showed me their copy of my lease that stated end of July. So after I signed new lease with new apartment to move in June, I got stuck with paying rent for two apartments. The geese are annoying and poop everywhere. Other than that, like I said... Watch your paperwork!
