I've lived in our 3rd floor, 2-bdrm apartment here for about a year and a half, and to be honest, it really is just about perfect. I personally have no gripe with management (Shirley loves me, for whatever reason), there's a *ton* of storage, and we have an *amazing* view overlooking Squirrel between University and Walton. We pay for that view, however; but not in excessive rent. Our particular building (2923) is atop the big hill on the property, so the walk up from the sunken parking lot is rough if you're bringing up grocieries (or, God forbid, if you're moving by yourself, as we did). My only real problem with Knollwood is that you pay for all your storage and laundry space with a smallish living room, and if you have an entertainment center, there's really only one way to lay out the room. We have a couch, table, entertainment center, and chair with ottoman, and our living room is quite cramped. This is the *only* reason my girlfriend and I are moving to a new property when we split with our current roommate for our own place (they only have one 1-bdrm layout, and the living room is too small for us). If you keep a simple living room, and are a couple or roommates looking for a really wonderful place, with the best views in the city, private entry, perfect location (walking distance from everything, but just enough removed to not be bothered with the noise), great neighbors, and cool management who offers to come over and have beers with you, there really is no better place in the area.

LOL..MIKE UR A NERD.. BUT YEAH HES RIGHT.. I LOVE LIVING HERE! EVERYONE IS REALLY NICE.. WHENEVER WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS IT WAS FIXED IN A FLASH. OUR WASHER BROKE.. WE HAD A BRAND NEW ONE IN ABOUT 5 DAYS.. ! LOVE IT HERE.. PLANNING ON STAYING FOR ANOTHER TERM!
