My fiance and I moved into Lake Village in November of 2005. We read all the reviews before signing our lease, and I was a little concerned.

After living here for about 4 months we LOVE it. We have never had a problem with anything in our apartment or parking. We have the 2 bedroom loft apartment and it's the perfect size for us. The only thing we don't like are the gates. Only because they are broken every other weekend and are kind of a pain for guests. But I've lived in a lot worse places.

I know other people have said that the office staff is unhelpful and I have found that that is not true. Anytime I go into the office they are super nice and super helpful and they even know me by name. I do not work at Lake Village so this rating is coming from an actual resident not an employee.

My fiance and I did do a lot of apt hunting before signing our lease here and this place was the most up-to-date apts we found. You also get a lot of space for your money.

If you are looking for an apartment in Auburn Hills I would definitly consider Lake Village. Don't let some of the bad experiences deter you. Nothing is perfect and I think some of the people that have written reviews think that they are supposed to be.
