What is everyone complaining about'

I read complaints about "noise" from other apartments...You live in an apartment! Did you honestly think that you wouldn't be able to hear other people'!' I live on the ground floor. I hear my neighbors walking around. Yes, when they rearrange their apartment while I'm trying to watch TV, then I get annoyed. But other than that...it's not that big of a deal to get all worked up about. I've lived in places where you could hear your neighbors talking in a normal voice. My neighbors throw poker parties and the only way you would even know it is if you walk outside and hear the noise coming from the windows. I guess my point is...it's an apartment. When you live an apartment...you have to be respectful and tolerant of a certain things that would not be an issue in a house. Yes, there are a small amount of bugs. But when you live in a basement apartment..you have to expect some of that too. If you have a cat or dog..they make fun free toys for your pets. Parking is an issue. There are too many garages that are either not being rented out or are being used for storage while those people take up a space as well. The office staff has never been anything but friendly and helpful to me. Again, your rent may pay their salaries. But, they are human and deserve to be treated as such. I've been in the office when someone has come in and been a complete ass. I think they handled it as well as anyone else would have. Overall, the grounds are beautiful and the residents here are very friendly. My only true complaint is the closet door in the kitchen is cheaply hung and needs to be fixed once or twice a week. Those people complaining about the utilities being so expensive. I would dare them to find a house that is 900sf to 1500sf that costs less to heat. When you have a large area to heat...it's going to cost you. I love living here. I haven't lived here long and I can only hope that that statement won't change.
