I see a lot of apartment staff come on here and write their own reviews because that is their job. let me tell you how lake village really is: they are very nice in person until you sign your lease and sometimes after that because they can't keep the place full because there are so many houses for rent on the market. they are even pretty good about maintenance, at least in respnse time. but there were two times that were left the rent check in the door and they claim to have not received it and charged us ridiculous late fees. also there were several times the trash didn't get picked up. parking is hard some days, walking a long ways to get to the apts. it gets very crowded sometimes. there is VERY LITTLE CLOSET SPACE AND THE CEILINGS ARE LOW. all together this was the worst apartment i have stayed in for the price. since we lived on the bottom our beighbors upstairs could be heard whenever they walked. one window leaked air in the bedoom so bad that in the winter our heating bill was HUGE. they claimed they fixed it with some sealant but it leaked just as bad after that and the room was always ice cold. i am so glad we moved out.
