After I moved out of tis place they tried to bill me 1900 dollars for a bunch of extremely overblown charges. I even had the apt carpet professionally cleaned and photographed when I moved out because my family is in the property management business and I have heard of the kinds of scams some of the less honest property management companies run.

If you are a victim of a similar scam by Lake Village, it is very important that you respond in writing within 7 days and dispute all the charges as per the law. Otherwise they will have the right to put this crap on your credit. Firthermore do be cautious and consider contacting a lawyer as I plan on doing in the event this stuff shows up on my credit.

I will not comment about my time living there as it really is not relevant how you are living when you are renting from crooks.

I strongly warn anyone from renting from Lake Village of Auburn Hills.
