Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2002
I lived hear about 3 (2002) years ago, and I totally would not recommend it. On one hand they are pretty good size for the price and main bedroom is huge. I miss that bedroom. But they are old and run down, and the office management at the time were just horrid. The walls are thin as paper. I could hear the guy downstairs answer the darn *phone* for gawds sake.
Plus..they legally can't tell you this but they have a program of mentally ill people getting back into society living there, or did at the time. Mostly this wasn't a problem, but for a while we had a real problem with the schitzophrenic guy that we shared a wall with ...(like loud music often at 2am) and they tried to blame us. I also had my bike stolen out of the storage cage.
They also don't maintain the snow shoveling on the stairs whhich are outside. very dangerous for doing laundry in the basement in the winter.
It may have changed in the last few years, but I've lived in a lot of apartments and it was by far the worst, and had the thinnest walls ever.
