My husband, brother and I have lived at this apartment complex for two and a half years. We lived on the second floor in a two bedroom unit. The staff has always been friendly when they are available; the biggest disappointment is that there's no weekend office staff on site. Parking is ample and you don't have to walk more than twenty or thirty feet to get to your place. Maintenance is very good at their job and almost always get it right on the first time. Insulation in the walls is fabulous; the windows are cheap. Simple plastic wrap and sealing tape around the windows solved this one. The reason we're leaving is because our jobs are taking us to Ann Arbor and there's no real reason to stick around for an hour and a half commute. I was disappointed in the lack of moving clause in the contract for early breaking of the lease.

Other tenants were made up of younger families with smaller children, visiting professors (of Oakland University) and their families, newlyweds (like my husband and I), and college students (most of my neighbors). As long as your upstairs or side neighbor doesn't have a bass (these should be banned from apartments and if you own one, please be courteous and disable the damn thing), you'll hear walking and that's about it. They did take most of the security deposit, although we left the place is very good shape.

They took most of my deposit as well, and I also keep the apartment in very good shapes and did a lot clean job before I turned in the keys. It is very disappointing.

I am very disappointed with this apartment. They will find any reason to keep someone's money. I had lots of problems living here. I lived here in 08 and the maintenance was unresponsive and the management doesn't care. They really need tanents that is why they keep everyone's deposit and can't effort to fix anything or replace their old and dirty appliance and carpets. It is sad to know that so many people have been their victim and no one took this to higher authority. It is nice of all of the resident to come together and write reviews to share their opinion with future residents. This will help other. PLEASE DON'T RENT THIS PLACE. They are thieves!!!!!!!!
