I lived about 2-3 years ago. Maintenance was fine, but the office staff was less than attentive. We were showed an apt that wasn't the same floor plan we were renting. I didn't think anything about it until about a month or two after moving in. Our unit had an adjoining door with our neighbor. Normally (I define normal as 'expected apartment noises) this was ok. We had a nice couple next door for a long time and experieced expected noise, but they moved to FLA. Then the divorced mom with the angry teenagers moved in and SLAMMMM!!!!!!!. The eldest boy slammed everytime he came and went. He slammed the door so hard one day it actually broke the arched windows on both our units. He thunder up and down the stairs at noise levels that far exceeded anything decent, and at all hours of the night. My four-year-old (at the time) daughter would awake screaming about monsters and earthquakes. I complained to the office and was told some noise was to be expected. Yes, as I defined above, 'normal noise', however this boy was not normal, he was frightening and destructive. So instead of renewing like we had planned, we bought a house. Funny how the 350 lbs man that lived there before never caused the stairs to literally thunder, or broke the windows by slamming the door so hard it shook the entire bldg. I would recommend this apts as long as you avoided the adjoining door units. I know they can be nice and comfortable apts because we lived there nearly a year before 'thunder' moved in.
