i heard gunshots last night. some guy broke into my neighbors (in my building) place and hid in thier closet. ive always slept with knives by my bed for fear of someone climbing up my porch and breaking in. my worst fear was just realized, thank god it didnt happen to me. ive been here one year and my lease is up sat and i am getting the h*** outta dodge. this is the second time ive heard shots nearby. not to mention the dead body found in the stream behind the apartments a few years ago. also there are racoons living in the ceiling and since they ate a hole in the ceiling you cant really get rid of the fleas. the possums and the stray cats also help create the problem. the floor feels like its about to collapse in certain parts. they never changed the carpet before i moved in and ive never seen em change it in any other unit...everyone is really friendly, but that doesnt make up for the gunfire or the fleas! dont do it!
