The over-over priced slums

Let me start out saying that I have read the reviews and have to agree, the reviews that sound too good to be true, probaley are from the office staff.
If any good reviews were written anytime recently, I'd say that maybe it was from one of the many "service" people living here for free...that includes many police officers.
You'd think that having all the police living in this area that the place would be safe with less crime but that is no where near the truth.
Places are broken into or attempted to be on a regular basics during the warmer months with no concern from the office staff.
If you can actually get a hold of someone, they will act and say whay you want but as soon as the conversation is over, so is their attention to your issue.
If you call for any maintance of any kind, you have to wait, call a few more times and then be prepared to call again when it doesn't get fixed correctly.
When you do call to get something done, you are considered a "problem" tentant.
The "sparkling pools" consisit of green water, unheated water or too many chemicals in the water.
They open late and close early...same as the office itself.
The walls are paper thin as is the insulation.
The blinds actually blow with the wind in the winter...imagine the heating bills!
As for the "pet friendly" offer, You may have an animal if you have an extra $200.00 per animal per year plus an extra $20.00 per month per animal.
Some people get to have their fees "waived" while others have to pay all of it...It just depends on the day around here as to if the rules will be enforced...that goes for everything.
The "walking trails" have homeless people that live on them which means that they live close by.
They stop over for dinner on a daily basis right out of the garbage dumpster.
What a lovely site for your children and vistors.
The Aimco staff will be a part of the community when it fits into their time frame. There have been a few "brunches" during normal working hours (10 am - 1 pm) so they won't have to deal with actually spending much of the money they get from the over priced apartments and townhomes that they rent.
The rent is going up again, it went up last year.
On top of that, they will now charge for the garbage, that their maintance people stuff full on a regular basis when someone else runs...opps...moves out.
Water will be charged for...isn't well water free'
To wrap this up, This is NOT the place to move to for anyone who is trying to raise a family, wants to get a head in life, wants respect or would like to be proud of their surroundings.
