When i went in to view the apartments there was a $99 move in special to cover the security deposit and 1st months rent Sounds great huh!

After they ran my credit and such, they said that i didn't qualify for the special, instead i would have to pay the $200 deposit $300 for my cat THREE MONTHS RENT for a total of $1875 to move in.

So all the readers know it is ILLEGAL to charge more than 1.5 times the normal rent for a security deposit.
