After 20 years of marriage and home ownership, I was nervous about going back to apartment living. I was pleasantly suprised to find Glenn Valley in a beautiful natural setting, with well manicured grounds, modern facilities, all in a setting that isn't overcrowded. My neighbors seem to be professionals of various ages, retirees, and young couples and singles - no trashy acting people. Everybody seems polite and respectful - some of my neighbors have even introduced themselves, so I feel a sense of community. There are no pets allowed, and not many children visable - children aren't a problem, just an observation. The setting is a natural wetlands, so the buildings in the rear wrap around natural marshes, which provide natural visual interest and space. I routinely have gotten turkeys on my back patio feeding on bird seed, and deer in the woods behind my unit. I have never seen a disturbance of any kind, and feel very safe in this complex. The only small criticism might be that the ratio of carports to units seems lower than other complexes, so don't plan on getting a carport soon. At this price range, I would think the take-rate for carports would be higher, demanding more units be built. Other than that, I'm perfectly content living at Glenn Valley, and would recomend it highly. In fact, I already have, and a co-worker of mine is applying for residence as I write this. Take a drive through and take a look around - I think you'll be pleased.
