In the September 12, 2007 issue of the Bay City Times, it was reported on page A3 that -------------------, a maintenance man employed at the --- --- owned Orchard Manor was charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct. A resident of the Orchard Manor apartments where Mr. --------- works reported that he raped her.

Ms. ----- ----- was the Manor manager when Mr. --------- was hired in May/June 2006 to work for both Orchard Manor and Midland Manor. The incident shows a tremendous safety risk for residents (and many are senior citizens as well as handicapped) of those apartment complexes, let alone the poor construction and maintenance of the new apartments. What would owner Mr. --- or manager Ms. ----- think if one of their relatives who was assaulted and raped by Mr. ---------' We are glad we moved out shortly after Mr. --------- was hired, as he came witout ID and wanted to enter our apartment when we had not requested maintenance assistance. Protect your relatives and yourselves by looking to rent at safe apartment complexes unlike Orchard Manor or Midland Manor where your life is at risk and in danger.

I recently moved out of Village Square Apartments in Essexville Michigan,which is also owned and managed by the same people. The same people also own/manage Webb Drive, Shirwinjo, and Raven Lane. They always have ads in the B.C Times with rent specials. This maintence man has also been to Village Square in my old apartment I moved from. He did not harm me at all. I did however get a strange feeling when he entered my apartment. I had heard comments at the pool from other tenants that "--- creeped them out" I moved away from Village Square because the management team ----- and ----- lack management/people skills. This management "Team" took over almost two years ago. They have drove away many long term tenants. The appearance of the grounds, building inside and outside, have dropped by 100%. They have a lot of people moving in and out real fast. It is real sad. --- bought the place from people who really took pride in the place about five years a go. His great mistake was replacing -------- S. as Regional Manager. After -------- "left" we lost our leasing ----- --------, our maintenance man Al. I agree with this management "Team" in place no one is safe in these apartment complexes!!

I have lived at Orchard Manor since June of 2006.I know or have had the pleasure of meeting all of the staff at one time or another,and have found each of them to be polite and professional.Since i have lived here i have had only 2 work request, 1 was a heat p---lem that was taken care of within 1 hr. the other was a driping faucet that was taken care of the next day.The property is kept well lite at night,the grounds are always clean and the side walks and driveway are kept clear as can be excpected.I find living here safe and friendly.I would recomend living here to anyone.

I want to thank the last anonymous person statement on here from today.. I totally agree with your statement and I know for a fact it was totally the "girl" to blame because we know for a fact that she did this before to other guys and because we personally know her and how she is and works... He was a great worker and very polite to everyone. Also whenever he was asked to do something, he would stop doing what he was doing to go do another job.. He was an "Awesome" person. Get to know someone before you judge them...

I have lived at midland manor for over three years.I consider it a safe,clean,friendly place to live.As far as the incident with the maintenance man a year ago, I really blame the "girl" who filed charges.--- was a good worker,polite and not at all the type of person you would be afraid of.He was always very professional and willing to help.I just wish we could have him and more like him working here.
