We lived here for a year in 2006-2007, and it was great! We lived on the top floor in a lakeside building overlooking the water. We also had a newly remodeled apartment with all new kitchen, appliances, carpet, etc. The apartment was a 2 bed, 2 bath, over 1000sq feet for $900 a month. I think that is pretty reasonable considering how nice it was and how big! I know that there are less nice buildings with older appliances and such, but you just have to do a walk through and pick which one you want before you move in. I have never seen the cops out, heard bad noises, heard of anyone's stuff being stolen, or anything like that the entire year. We had some issues with our dishwasher working correctly, but the maintainence were always there and always helpful when we called. Also, you can bring your dog and there is a washer and dryer in the apartment! I really enjoyed living here, especially right on the water, and would have stayed but got transferred to another state for work.
