The 1st week after I lived in Southport the man above me moved out saying that he had been broke into 3 times in 1 year. Wishing me the best of luck he almost ran out of there the day his lease was up. 1 month later my apartment was broke into with no forced entry, and they told me that I staged it. I have heard 3 people tell me since I have been there that thier own cars have been broke into, and 2 people have told me that thier keys fit in the neighbors door. Mang. is rude and they could care less that you pay $750 a month to live in the "quiet" crime filled neighborhood.
Southport looks great to someone who doesn't live there. The upkeep on the outside is awsome....but behind closed doors it's a different book.
