Nice but some major problems

The third floor apartments are a nightmare on your electric bill in the summer. The bedroom facing the pond was only comfortable when the back bedroom was like a refrigerator. There are no window fixtures and none of the windows are of a standard size. Maintenance is non-existent. We have a section of cabinets hanging from its supports that has never been fixed despite several complaints. Also in the first two weeks of moving in the cathedral ceiling leaked and caused massive water damage to the outer wall. Maintenance came once and never finished the job. No cable TV or internet, but you can get your own satellite set up if your apartment faces the south. However, the satellite company is not allowed to drill into anything to install the satellite which makes it difficult to run the line from the balcony into the apartment. DSL just became available this summer. The so called fitness center advertised in their ads is an empty room in an empty clubhouse. It has been this way since we moved in. Some apartments look onto construction and there are several disabled cars sitting around that seem to belong to the construction crew. The new carports are proving quite the nuisance and I wonder how it will work when it snows. The apartments are very spacious, but all the other little problems add up and that is why we are not renewing.
