Hillcrest is a very getto place, there is always broken glasses everywhere outside, the backyard is full of trash and empties most of the year. As a tenent there for two years I have had my car consently being messed with. If you have a nice car or you just respect your property do not move there.
Other then outside the apartments are poorly kept up, there were holes in the wall when we moved in, but this did not stop them from charging us for them when we moved.
Overall, in an out of Hillcrest is a ghetto dump. Things are constantly going on in a none legal way, and the cops frequently visit and harass everyone there. The price is among the highest in the area and the quality is among the poorest.
