I lived there 2002-2004. I liked it a lot. Yeah, it's crappy, but that's big rags for ya. It was cheapest AND I got full refund on my deposit! I cleaned the place and returned it the way I received it and they didn't try to screw me over. It's a fun place to live and party. Partying was only on some nights and pretty much dead on weekends. I guess it all depends on your neighbors. There's tons of parking! Now, I live in Cali and no parking anywhere!!! I took that for granted. Plus, in Cali it's $1400 for the same 2 BR apt at Hillcrest. So you're getting a good deal in Big Rapids.
