I lived here for 2 years. They are very nice inside, lots of room and laid out nicely. Built well but very cheaply, the walls are only about 1/4" thick (we've had to fix a couple holes). Parking is very good, except that you need passes for your visitors (but they never check anyway). There's usually lots of partying and going out in the back by the volleyball and basketball courts. Management is a joke though, if you're graduating LOOK AT YOUR LEASE!!! You need to MOVE OUT THE DAY YOU GRADUATE! Its a pain going to graduation and having to move out by noon on the same day and they won't budge on the date or time you need to be out. Security is a pain, they don't do anything but walk around and harrass you. They used to have nice security guards (the maintenance people) but they got sick of it so they hired some wanna-be cops from the CJ program. These guys are on a power trip and if you make any noise even on a weekend they will ticket you. They kick you out of the back yard at 9 or 10. I loved living at this place the first year but when they got the new security and management during the second year everything went downhill. If I was still going to Ferris I would have looked at other apartments for my next year - the University Park Suites next door are much better in my mind. Also you need to pay by semester, not month to month so thats also a pain.

The security guards aren't acting in a capricious manner. They are simply enforcing the rental agreement that YOU signed. If you act in a considerate and responsible manner then you???ll have a great time here.
