Oakwood is a decent place to live and no doubt fun when you are with all college students. However, it is very over priced and in the end, they are very shady when they do the inspection for damages. We were charged for over 300 nail holes at $4 a piece. There is NO WAY we had that many nail. We were charged for soot, which is from the oven, and we had no control over. I lived with 3 tidy girls and they said we did over $1500 in damage. We lived there for 3 years in the same apartment and had damages that you would expect, some dings here and there and yes a few nail holes. Be careful and don't expect any money back from your deposit! They think they can push you into paying it because you are still in college. It's a shame!
