Well at first the Rapids was an ok place to live. The office manager seemed delighted to have you living there and the security around the property were reasonable guys. It seemed like everything changed when they got some new security on a power trip because they treated us like 12 yr old kids, not adults. They regulated who could come on to the property by setting up gates at the entrance, and told us to be quiet when we were harldly even loud. I mean this is college, they acted like it was a retirement home and that quiet time was right after dark!! Oh, and good luck getting a hold of the office manager, she kinda has her own hours. Somedays she would be there at 9am, sometimes noon, and hell somedays you would have a hard time finding her at all!!! What really pissed us tennants off is that she tried to say that damaged screens costed aprox. $35 a piece to replace. Well the funny thing is that we took 6 of them to a local hardware store and had all of them fixed for under $35!! We also got charged for 2 windows that had cracks on the outside pains (that anyone could have caused) and she said that the apartments were our responsibility even on the outside. So before you sign that lease, take into consideration that the management is extremely poor and that you would probably have more social freedoms living in the dorms or a retirement community. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
