I'm quite unpleased with my stay at the Rapids. They never plow the lots and when they do it's usually a couple days after the snow so everything is packed down and the plow trucks just make it slippery. It also takes them an unnecessary amount of time to snowblow the sidewalks so my roommates and I end up shoveling ours off hours before anyone gets around to it. You can feel a draft at every window and at the front door, and because of it our heating bill is unthinkably high even though we keep it at 68 degrees. We also have several things in our apartment that were broken before we moved in and we submitted a maintence order seven months ago and those things are still not repaired. Ants have also been a major issue, and when we brought it up to the staff we were pretty much told that it was our problem so we've had to buy ant bombs and traps for the past three months and still haven't gotten rid of them. The trim falls off of the cupboards so we constantly have to put them up. They also don't do anything about noise control so if you plan on getting any sleep before 4 or 5 in the morning then you had better be a heavy sleeper or have really good ear plugs. If all of that isn't a turn off then this would be the perfect apartment complex for you!
