They will nickel and dime you with charges all year long. If its not $50 trash fines even though it blows in front of your apartment, $50 day late rent charges, or bull crap "damage" fees to the place, its another bull fee. They charged me fines without even telling me something was wrong, they just took it out my security deposit untill it was gone, then they bothered to send me notices telling me about a fine. There is crappy maintenance service and management service. They gave a fridge that would defrost randomly, and then after multiple complaints replaced it with another crappy fridge. If I would have known any better 2 years ago, I would have lived somewhere else for sure. If I were you and I'm going to pay ridiculous college rent rates, then I would pick some where else besides the Rapids, and thats the truth.
