I?ve just moved out of this complex. I got an all around better arrangement in Troy behind Sommerset Collection. Since I?ve been here for 5 years, I think I have some insight on the conditions. The management/leasing team is irreverent, difficult and unresponsive. You get a sense that you have to prove your case for any issues. There have been some work/improvements to the property, but nothing that I would consider to be exceptional. Essentially, the property had been allowed to degrade and they?re now catching up with the work. There is a large vacancy rate and I consider the price/sq. ft. rather high. I?m now in a lease with three monthes free and NO heating bills. It worked out to be almost identical in price for a larger unit. The access to major express ways is convenient only on the weekends. Telegraph is always congested, Square Lake between Telegraph and I-75 is horrible during rush hours. No need to explain I-75 during rush hours in either direction. Overall, I have to say it was time to move! I also, received a charge for damage carpet replacement that was scheduled to be performed during my lease period! The kitchen is tiny. Well, the strip mall across Telegraph is the only positive about the location; everything is convenient.
