I live in a building of one bedroom apartments. Just over a month ago they allowed a family of 5 (two adults, one girl and two boys). Before you go thinking that maybe this is all they can afford, the cars that the mom and dad drive are a Cadillac Escalade with dual DVD players in the head rests and a Mercedes-Benz. Now the kids are constantly out in the parking lot on their bikes weaving in and out of the cars. My boyfriend once heard the mother tell her son when he buzzed the door that unless it was an emergency he was not getting back in the building.

Maintence is completely inept. They have been out three times to fix my toilet handle. This is because they are to cheap to get the proper size.

When I moved in I asked them if they had washers and dryers in every building. They told me that they did. What they meant was that they have them in every set of buildings. Yes, my building is technically connected to the one next to mine, but to get to the laundry room I have to go out my door, over to the next door and down another flight of steps.

I know exactly what building you are talking about. My car was scratched because the kids were riding their bikes and scooters around the parking lot. Their parents don't care and something needs to be done about it. There are also people that use the parking lot as a tennis court and don't think twice about the ball bouncing off residents cars.
