The ups.. Nice pretty area, bloomfield hills amazing place to live, allow pets, big apartments with walk in closets, lots of space.
The downs.. Tiny washer and dryer in wash room, Very Very high gas bills, especially with heat. They have their own timed shared system where all the residents heat is combined into one bill and then divided by the time your funace is on, they completly rip you off, I talked with everyone that was in my building and we were all paying well over $100, I personally was paying $150 a month for heat. (Unreasonable for a one bedroom apt, I have lived in apts for 7 years now and never paid more then 50 for gas) Figured out their system and because of that gave us all a month free and blamed it on consumers energy, the office ladies were not the friendliest after that, but never were very helpful in any situation that happened, (they never tell you about the gas bill expect you pay for your own, which is a complete lie because you pay a share of everyones combined), I had a first floor apt and there was a problem with mold growing and the floors always felt wet, I had a dehymidifier, didn't help much. Everything felt damp. The buildings are old and need updating and I don't think they used any kind of insulation between the walls or floors. I could at times hear the guy above me pee, nasty, and could always hear him stomping around. I could hear the neighbors in the building over yelling and fighting. Very noisy and disturbing. I had the furthest apt from telegraph and there was always constant noise from traffic, definatly not peaceful and quiet. This place is not worth the price you pay.... x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
