Hello, Ok first off i loved my apt. When i first moved in but then i left for work and came home one day and my ceiling in my master bedroom had fell in, I calld mait. and it took them an 1 1/2 hrs to get there even though i had water running into my floor. It flooded my bedroom and went all the way into my living room by the time they got out there i went to the office the next day and tols them about the problem the moved me into the apt. right nxt door wich was fine cause i wanted to be there instead of in the front by the main road and those were my two options well the day i moved in there was alot wrong with that apt. My air unit was dripping into my hall way they came out and stopped it from leaking they said they would be back out to fix the rest well by the time they made it back i had gave them chance after chance to come out 2 mnths later i told them that i would be out by the 1st, So on the 1st i was moving the rest of my things out, while i was in the middle of doing so mait. showed up and decided they wanted to try and fix everything so i wouldnt leave. Well needless to say it was to late for all that not only did i move from an apt. that had mold all in after the ceiling fell in they moved me into another apt. with mold the toilet was broke and ruined the carpet all down my hall way, because it took them 2 mnths to come out and try to fix. The apt. i was living in when the ceiling fell in they had allready rented out befor i moved 2mnths later all they did was patch it again because there was a patch there when i moved in, They painted over the mold and rented it out like it wasnt a problem. The people that moved in after me stayed for less than a mnth and moved out cause because they had problems and they refused to fix them. Someone else moved into the apt. I lived in to the 2nd apt. i did and stayed for 2mnths. The toilet flooded the carpet again and they did nothing about it so needless to say they moved as well.. Again when i first moved in i loved my apt. I thought it was a great place to live untill all of this happend, i would not recomend you move there if your wanting a nice place to live cause its only a matter of time until it all goes down hill..

I have to agree with this response because we are currently going trough a similar situation. Our water tank sprung a leak on a Thur night, called the night number on Thur and let them know and went and told the office on Fri and was told it should be ok until Monday. Well they were wrong!! It got worse Sun and the ceiling started to hand from the water and big brown spots started showing up on ceiling and water was trapped in between the sheet rock and paint. All they did for us was change water tanks and a month later they came and spray painted the ceiling a little and on top of the painting they didn't give us notice or take the time to cover anything up. I spent days wiping and dusting all the cast-off or drips from our tv, computer, shelves, etc. and the ceiling still has brown spots and the sheet rock is still sagging. I've let the office know of the this and it's been over 2 months now. The staff is so incompetent its scary!

First off, I have been living here for almost three years. This place is the best place around here i could find. To respond to the STFBLCHK32, I'm not sure how your ceiling caved in from a hot water tank, there are no hot water tanks above any unit here!!!!! This is why us renters get a bad name, because your are so incompetent that you have to rent!!! The staff here is always on the ball with anything that happens. If anything is wrong all you have to do is call the office or the 24 hour EMERGENCY number. If you don't like it here, MOVE!!!! We don't need another person complaining about something that is not true!! You are probably the same person that called the state because the under water pool lights were out when the pool closes before dark. Ya, thats right, the pool was shut down for a couple of days because they had to drain it and put new lights in. Even then the staff worked very hard and fast to get it done. Anyway, this place is GREAT, don't ruin it for the rest of us, just MOVE!!! There is something like 160 units in here and only two maintenance men on staff, I think it is amazing they get so much done in between them!!

Dear: Sftblchk32
I am the manager of South Glen Apartments please call me at the office if you are having problems with your drywall in your unit. I am not aware of any hot water tanks that have been replaced recently. Hot water tanks are located in the basement or ground floor and I don't understand how a leaking hot water tank could damage drywall, there is no drywall near the hot water tank. Please call me at 734 675-4100 or e-mail me at southglen@sbcglobal.net to discuss this problem. I would like to make things right however I don't have your address or contact info.
