Well winter is upon us here at Cin point and I wish I could afford to go out more often (because my apartment is freezing) but this month I have a $190(edit for correct info) edison bill on top of my $1000 dollar rent.
Now if my heat was at 80 I wouldn't complaign but it's set at 67 degreese and runs contantly! I'm also on the second floor but heat doesn't rise here or get stopped by the lack of insulation in the "attic". That's right there's a hatch in my ceiling that leads to a large attic area that leads to a hatch in my neighbors apartment! Neither one are sealed for our protection.
Back to the heat. I've kept the blinds closed over any window/doorwall I could find but that didn't help. In the summer I went to the attic and found the insulation to be about a half inch thick that may be the problem. (edit I just went back in the attic and found the insulation to be at least 3" I apologize for the incorrect info.
The snow and ice removal were timely once so far this year (after this last snow fall they had the snow plowed and salted twice(well done). I've slipped on the side walk numerous times not to mention getting out to my car...dangerous!
As for the office staff I couldn't base much on talking to them because I've called and left at least 15-20 voicemails about a couple issues and never received a call. When I did finally get ahold of them the response was uninspiring to say the least. I'll wait and see how long it takes for my issue to get handled. I really don't mean anything harsh on the maint staff, the do a good job when the get the messages.
Really I could go on and on but there are some nice perks to the place. It looks classy and clean for the most part, the neighbors are good people, even the one offender found on the Michigan public sex offender registry, privat entrances and the tiny garage. All in all I'm ready to move out.

My family and I recently moved out of Cinnamon Pointe after being there for 2 years. Many reasons led us to the decision, including, but not limited to, the new owners/management. We definitely noticed a lot of (negative) changes when the new managers/owners came in. I have to say that Jodi and Cara were, at times, helpful, but that's about as far as I can go. A bit disappointed with something we were so happy with initially:(

Again, I would really like the opportunity to resolve these concerns/issues, so if you decide to speak with me, I will listen respectfully and focus only on the resolve. Jodi Stocker

I would expect nothing less than your full attention and assistance on an open forum. It's easy to be helpful over the internet real life still counts though. I really was excited to move here and now realization has hit me.

Since the changing of ownership the staff has been useless. I have left messages several times which they cannot take time out to return, but will have no problems with leaving numerous notes on our door. The staff/management have very poor communication and people skills it is easy to see through their fake smiles and empty words. When we moved into cinnamon point the ratings were around 80% and now have dipped below 70%, which is no coincidence. The garage doors work about 40% of the time, making it hard to plan on placing a car in the garage or even taking out any trash. The 24/7 gym is hardly ever accessible because the key system works about 10% of the time. The amenities were a big reason why we chose cin. pt but realize that they are irrelevant. Had buyers remorse after first month and had realized that we had made a mistake. You do not get what you pay for here.
