I would just like to say that I loved my time at these apartments. They have undergone a few changes in management and not all of them were good but I believe that the current management is addressing issues and making improvements. My last lease ended March 31st, 2008.
Here are a few of my experiences, good and bad.

1. I lived in 1 one bedroom apartment and 2 two bedroom apartments. There are roly poly bugs and spiders. It's a semi wooded area, there's not much management can do about that.

2. The two bedroom apartments all have heating and cooling problems in the back bedroom. I believe this is an issue with the basic design of the apartments. Again, not something that the apartment management can fix.

3. The windows and doorwall are drafty. Short of replacing them all, I don't think there's anything management can do but residents aren't responsible for their heating bill so it's not too much of an issue (at least it wasn't for me).

Those were the only real complaints I had...

Now on the plus side...

1. Management has always been friendly, helpful and expedient with any and all issues I have ever had that could be fixed (usually it was addressed the same day).

2. My kids and I loved the pool.

3. The 24 hour laundry room was as convenient as it could get short of having a washer and dryer in my apartment.

4. The neighbors were all very friendly and courteous.

5. Rent can be paid right at the office onsite.

6. In the summer, the grounds are beautiful and well kept by a team of landscapers that are there what seemed like every other day.

7. Although I'm not a golfer, they offer free golf which I'm told is normally quite expensive.

I would've stayed there, but my family expanded and we simply needed more space. It was a wonderful affordable experience. Also I'd like to add, that during the time I lived there, I was a single mother and it is a SAFE place in a good school district. I was a little sad to go, but I stayed in Canton specifically to keep my daughter in the same school. Also, I recently received a letter from Fairway Club at my current address stating that my entire security deposit is being refunded to me. That should tell you something about the honesty and integrity of the office staff.

Ditto, I still live here and the managment change is a disaster. Mainrtenance is a joke with the exception of contracted yard work and carpet cleaning. I will be moving soon!

I am a real person and was a real resident there for 5 years. Apparently your experience differs from mine greatly but honestly, I loved it there. I never had any real problems there. I moved to Turnbury Park luxury apts though and it's gorgeous, twice the size, with garages and better dog policies but it's also twice the price...I couldn't complain a whole lot when I lived at Fairway Club...I thought it was a good price for a good place to live...
