Nice-looking on the inside (sweet walk-in closet)and lots of closets, but not nice on the outside. Great location for shopping, catching the bus, but not very safe. Told to expect insurance premiums to skyrocket . Quiet during the day, but not at night or on the weekends. Has a pool! Some problem tenants. I was a minority (very few whites) and was given dirty looks by the younger tenants. The older (over 50) tenants were very nice to me. According to different sources, lot of drug and alcohol use among younger tenants and fighting. Also, apts not very secure (very easy to break into). Cars easy to break into, too. Not so great for white women (esp ones who like to look nice). You have to pay all utilities except water, bringing cost of living to over $600/mo. Don't settle-keep looking. There are cheap and nice and safer places to live. I found some in Royal Oak/Ferndale/Madison Hts. These cities are also "minority friendly".

This seems to be a biased review written to sway potential future tenants away from the place due to a bad expirence with management.

I have lived here for more then five years and have never had a problem, you can always go to the local police department and get incident reports, (which by the way is less then a half mile up the road), I know alot of people here and never herd of people getting broke into or their cars stolen, besides that could happen any where. as far as insurance prices that well vary from city to city, not the name of the apartment complex. I live on the main strip and can count on one hand how many times I have herd arguing in the parking lots, thats good for the time that I have lived here. They do not have people hanging out on porches or in the streets partying I have never seen that. I will agree that the out side of the apartments are little to be desired but the inside makes up for it.I will not move because if I find a place that includes heat, they want on avarege to charge 75.00 more a month thats 900.00 year for heat I dont come close to paying that where im at. Management and maintenance are great, problems are fixed quickly, and with good manners. I also look good and take care of my self but all yong and older like to say hi to me. so im not sure where this person is comming from but I would suggest Deauville apartments to all my friends and family and strangers too. Thank you.
