Let me first start out by saying that the outside of these apartments do not look very nice, but inside (at least of mine), it is very nice. This is my first apartment and before leasing this one I visited many other apartments. The reason I went with this one is because my bathroom looked new, my windows I could tell were newer, they allow a cat, and I have the end unit which is bigger. The office people have been pretty nice and the maintenance men have been exceptionally good. When I first moved in I had a bunch of things that I needed fixed and they fixed it right on the first try. I also notice that when I write a repair slip, they come within 2 days and they always leave a note that they were there. Upon moving in I did have to do some sanding and scrubbing. I guess I could have asked them, but who wants to wait and I knew I could do it. Nobody in my building has a storage unit except for me. I didn't have one when I signed the lease, but then the maintenance man knocked on my door and said that the closet/room in the hall was for my apartment. Nice surprise. Some people I notice say that their apartments maintenance people suck, but that may be because they live in a huge complex. I also like how this apartment complex is pretty small. I think only 6 buildings with aprx 8 units in each. This way you get to know the neighbors even if you don't talk to them you can observe. Though I am in my early 20's and so are the majority of my neighbors, thank God they do not throw parties and are not loud. I am pre-law and I could not handle it. Apparently, people rent out apartments and they get young people who are horrible neighbors. There is one person in our building I hate for reasons I will not get into, but they are white trash so they don't phase me. Our building consists of a pretty girl in one unit, a geek boy in the another, me and my roommate, the white trash couple, a med student, the ------- just moved out and the other 2 units have young people, but no loud parties yet. I will keep my fingers crossed. Now that summer is here, I hope the keggers don't start. Now for the negative things. The walls are thin to the point I whisper when I talk to someone in my bedroom because the 1 neighbors I don't like live behind us and they bang on the wall, so I have try not to speak. Besides I don't want them to know what I'm saying and they are straight up white trash. The parking area has some trash in it and the roads need to be done. They did just fill a bunch of pot holes though. Sometimes the dumpsters overflow, but not too often. There also isn't enough parking sometimes when people have non-tenants over. I think they should repave the parking and then # and give people a spot. Some nights I come and I have to park far away because there isn't parking. The carpet in our building need to be vacuumed more often and taken care of. When I first moved in, I saw a lady coming through vacuuming, but I haven't seen her in months. My kitchen flooring is cracking and I think it is getting worse, but it was like that when I moved in. Lastly, the laundry room is filthy to the point you can see black dirt built up on the floor. So apparently, they do not mop the laundry room floors. They should because it is disgusting. They did put shelves in the laundry room for your detergent, but nobody in our building uses it. I personally don't because I wouldn't want all the peeps in my building to use up all my soap. Because it is community washers, they get nasty and get hair stuck in them. Before I do my laundry I usually wipe them down. Oh and I would like to add that we just had a flood that flooded all the lower apartments and the halls. They said it was a sewer back up from diapers, tampons etc., but who knows. On a good note, I think the lower apartments got new carpet. Lucky! Anyways, I would recommend these apartments and I do like it here. I am pretty sure that I will renew my lease too.

Do you still like it here??? I know that your review was posted in April and it is now October. I would really appreciate your response. I would rather live in my car than search for an apartment. Good ones are few and far between.
