Good people not welcome.

Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
My girlfriend and I moved in and seemed to be treated differently because we are in our early 20's. We moved into the second floor of a building and were immediately harassed and accused of being too loud because we were walking in our apartment. We received an initial noise complaint the first week we were there and had a word with the rental office to clear up the dilemma because we hadn't done anything wrong, let alone hadn't settled in yet (got rugs, etc.) After spending over $100 on rugs and without making any other changes in our lifestyle we were told that our neighbors mentioned an improvement in our foot volume. A week later we have received an eviction notice. So far the rental office has played dumb, wont tell us why we received this and continues to tell us to contact their lawyer. We haven't even been here a month, haven't broken any rules, and we are still looking at being evicted. We plan to fight this, but no longer wish to live here and be harassed any way. We recommend no one attempt to live here unless you don't walk, because apparently that causes too much noise for anyone else to bear. We hear other tenants dogs barking, and others trampling up the stairs unnecessarily loud at late hours yet we are the only ones being evicted. Stay away from here for your own peace of mind.
