The model apt is nice when you go to look at it. It?s nice from the outside and well kept. If I knew then what I know, & have experienced now, I would have spent the extra $20/month and lived elsewhere. It could be better, could be worse. The walls are thin and cracking. The age of the apt shows, but you would think they would fix it before you move it. The DW leaks water, my air has broken twice. My pipes broke under my sink in the BR causing black mold. The area with the stairs/mail is full of spiders and their eggs. I am always killing a spider. You can hear other people leaving & coming in. My chandeleir is about to fall out of the ceiling as well. The basement is dark & dingy and the floor is always covered in water from the sewer system backing up and the water comes in through the basement walls when it rains. I find that the maintenance company they use is very good, it?s just getting the message from the mgmt to the maint crew that takes a while. There is also a sign when you drive in that says "monitored by security patrol" or something to that affect. I?ve never seen any security cars driving through there. My neighbors have made my stay nice though. I?ve never had any break-ins and I always feel safe there at night. I think the rent is too high for the items that need improvement. Hopefully the new management will improve on the overall living experience.
