I have rented at three seperate apartment complexes in my lifetime, and this is by far the absolute WORST rental experience I've ever had. The management is rude, condescending, and slow to respond to problems yet quick to try to sell you Amway. Paragon Properties in general and the female manager of Eastwood Village in particular seem to care more about their own whims than assisting you in your living experience. Take note that I was charged the cost of replacing a countertop out of my security deposit because there were "cuts" in it after I had EXPRESSLY informed the management they were there when I moved in. I never even owned a set of cooking knives! The neighbors are mostly good people, but there are a few jerks in the complex, you almost never have access to your assigned parking spot, the staff enters your apartment when you are at work and moves things, and trying to get anything fixed is like banging your head against a wall...it feels good when you stop.

I have lived in this complex for 13 months now, and will NOT being extending or renewing my lease. I furthermore will NOT be renting from any complex owned or operated by Paragon Properties.

My advice to anyone contemplating renting at Eastwood Village: Look for somewhere else to live. Believe me, you'll be better off not having to deal with rude, uppity managers, a rental company who is looking to squeeze every last dime out of you, and low-flying jets from Selfridge ANG Base.

Don't say you haven't been warned.
