Not the greatest place to live

I have lived here for almost 14 years now and have seen the staff and management change a few times. In the last 5 years this place has gone down hill real fast. The parents have no control over their kids and they run around here throwing things at the buildings and destroy the property all the time. Neighbors are noisy around me all the time. I don't understand why it is so hard to put your trash in the dumpster instead of next to it. My appliances are from the 70's and don't work all that great and when I asked if I could get newer ones after being here so long, the response was as long as it works we won't replace it. Well the pilot lights keep going out on my gas stove so maintenance decided to turn up the pilots now I can't even touch the top of the stove without getting burnt. I suppose when the place blows up I'll get the new appliances. If you go to the office to complain they are friendly to your face, but then nothing gets done about it. The grounds people keep the lawns looking nice except where the grass has died off. They don't seem to care. There are potholes all over the lot. They get filled and then they form again 2 weeks later. In your lease if you own more than 1 car you are asked to park the other cars away so others can park. I have one car and the neighbors have 3 or 4 and I have to end up parking at least 1 building away from my own apartment. There are even a few cars sitting in the lot for 1 or 2 years with flats taking up spaces. I do have to say though that since the new lady took over as manager in the office the place has been getting an overhaul. They have put in new dumpsters, repaired the gates around the dumpsters, and have fixed the fence along the railroad tracks. They have had the unmoved cars all towed and have been fixing the large potholes in the lot. They have also starting re-shingling the roofs of the buildings and giving them new paint. we'll see how far they take this clean up. If I could afford it I would move, but am kind of stuck here for now.
